Unless you’ve used our service, or drastically revised your work, your dissertation is not a book yet. We have many years of experience helping authors make the change from dissertation to book manuscript. We can help you transform your dissertation into a more readable, approachable, and sellable book manuscript.
For this service, we will review your dissertation, offering you general structural, narrative, and stylistic advice in our thorough written assessment. We will provide examples of each issue and offer suggestions for resolving them. This does not include a line edit, extensive margin comments, or feedback on the scholarly content of your work. Please be warned: revising a dissertation often means cutting a significant amount of material!
Price: $7/page, 100 page minimum

We also offer our editorial services for short stories and essays. We will review your manuscript and provide general feedback, focusing on the work’s narrative structure. We will provide a written assessment of your work, what we feel it needs, what works, what doesn’t, and offer you suggestions for revision. This level of editing includes some line edits and margin comments. We only offer this service on a limited basis.
